Questions about custom interior features

Browse answers by topic. If you don't see your question, send us photos and a few details about your project. We typically reply within a day.

Pricing

Cost depends on the wall's size, the materials you choose and the complexity of the design — a painted panel costs less than a stone-clad media wall with integrated lighting and electrical work. Send photos and rough dimensions and we'll get back with a free preliminary planning range for your project.

Every price covers design guidance, material selection, fabrication, finishing and installation, along with protecting your space and removing debris. The television itself and any required permits are handled separately unless we've agreed otherwise for your project.

No. A planning range is an early estimate based on photos and rough dimensions. The final proposal is prepared after an in-home or virtual consultation and measurement, and that's the number confirmed in your agreement.

A deposit is typically required to begin, usually 30–50% of the project total, with the balance due on completion. Exact terms are set out in your project agreement before work begins.

Design

Yes. Every project includes a drawing or rendering at real dimensions before you sign, so you know what you're approving in advance.

Yes — send us the plans you already have and we'll talk through how to bring them to life within your space and budget.

Usually the one your eye lands on when you enter the room, or the wall behind the main seating area. We'll talk through the options with you at your consultation, before anything is quoted.

Materials

Hardwood species such as oak and walnut, painted MDF and poplar, and large-format porcelain or natural stone, depending on the look and budget. We'll help you compare options for your project.

We select and finish materials with Florida's heat and humidity in mind, and use moisture-tolerant substrates in laundry, mudroom and bathroom locations.

Yes. Samples are brought to your consultation so you can see the species, profile and finish in your own home's light.

Installation

It depends on the project — a single panelled wall is usually quicker, while built-ins, fireplace walls and larger projects take longer with additional finishing days. Installation typically runs 1–3 days, and the expected timeline is confirmed in your proposal.

Whether you need to be away depends on which area of the house is affected and the scope of the project. We'll walk through what to expect for your specific job before work begins.

Room preparation and furniture moving are planned together beforehand, based on your space and the scope of the work.

Electrical & Fireplaces

Yes. Outlet relocation, fireplace circuits and integrated lighting are coordinated as part of your project, working with qualified electrical partners when the scope requires it.

In many cases, yes — it depends on the fireplace manufacturer's clearance guidelines and on keeping the screen at a comfortable viewing height. We check both before quoting and suggest an alternative layout if it doesn't work for your room.

It depends on the specific model, the scope of installation, any electrical work involved, and your local jurisdiction. We confirm the requirements for your project before work begins.

Scheduling

Start dates depend on our current workload and the scope of your project. Reach out and we'll confirm our current availability.

Inquiries sent with photos typically get a reply within a day.

Service Area

We install in Orlando and the surrounding Central Florida communities. See our full service area page for the counties and cities we cover.

Any travel-related costs are discussed as part of your project scope before work begins. Projects further out in Florida, or outside the state, can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Warranty

Our workmanship is covered for one year. Manufactured components such as fireboxes and LED drivers carry their own manufacturer warranties, and we pass along that documentation with your project.

Contact us and we'll assess the situation to see whether it's covered under the workmanship warranty, and go from there.
